What does design have in common with storytelling? In simple terms, design, like storytelling, brings ideas to life. Through thoughtful visual design, you can craft narratives that your help your audience connect with you better and remember you for longer.

In today’s digital landscape, users have lots of information to parse, and lots of products to choose from. To stand apart from the noise, you need to have a unique identity through a story that sets you apart. As a designer, it’s important to know how to elicit the right emotions — both in your users, and in yourself, in your own design process.

To help you develop your storytelling skills, the Interaction Design Foundation is proud to host a LIVE Master Class webinar by writer and designer, Ellen Lupton. Join us on 19 January 2022 at 4 PM UTC to understand how to combine timeless design principles, storytelling techniques and insights from behavioral science and cognition to build your skills in visual storytelling.
